VIRTUAL PROGRAM

VODVIL: A Classically Modern Magic Show poster featuring cartoon sketches of Andrew Evans wearing a tuxedo and holding a ghost light, alongside The Lovely Assistant who is wearing a victorian dress in yellow and holding a red rose.

In the early 1900s, short snippets of laughter and awe were delivered nightly — not through online videos, but rather live on the prestigious stage s of Vaudeville. In a time when variety was king, Magic (always a crowd favorite) was constantly forced to find new ways of shattering the rules of reality. Tonight, we attempt to resurrect a few of these forgotten moments from Magic’s rich history.

Come rediscover the wonder of a 100-year-old magic show.

Andrew Evans The Magician

has been a professional magician since the age of 12 and has performed internationally on 6 continents (come on Antarctica!). He designs and builds his own unique illusions diving deep into Magic’s past as a way to reimagine its future. When he’s not cutting people in half, Andrew is a Product Designer at IDEO where he is constantly exploring
the intersection of Magic and Design. His talk on the subject—Designing Wonder—has been featured locally for Google, Medium, and Autodesk and globally for TED and AIGA. He previously worked as a high-end treehouse designer, dating-start-up co-founder, marshmallow baker, and once led the creation of an immersive theatrical production on Alcatraz Island.

She is the co-founder of the comedy duo MOSH. When she isn't on stage, Molly Kate is a wedding and portrait photographer.

Bobby Holsinger Stage Manager

Bobby is a Bay Area native who only recently found a love of theater. His day job is as an application support specialist for a lumber company, and he spends his free time playing video games and writing Dungeons and Dragons campaigns.
